Vietnam has established a steering committee to prepare a proposal for a resolution replacing the 2019 Resolution 39-NQ/TW on economic resources. The Government News portal reports that Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng chairs it, with the finance ministry serving as the standing agency. Its responsibilities include developing the proposal, coordinating institutions and organising an editorial team. The establishment decision takes effect on 13 October 2026; the replacement resolution itself has not been adopted by this step.
