Juergen Klopp's midfield selection drew attention in Germany's 2-0 victory over Serbia. BongdaPlus reports that Joshua Kimmich did not start, while Florian Wirtz, Tom Bischof and Aleksandar Pavlovic featured in the chosen setup. Wirtz and Bischof scored, giving the coach further evidence about his alternatives. The selection in a single match does not establish Kimmich's permanent exclusion or a midfield combination fixed for every forthcoming international fixture.
