Vietnam drew 0-0 with Thailand in their final Asian Games 2026 women’s football Group E match on September 21, according to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). Coach Hoàng Văn Phúc’s side advanced to the quarter-finals as one of the two best third-placed teams.

Vietnam kept a clean sheet under pressure from Thailand, who needed a win to progress. The VFF announced a VND 500 million bonus for the squad after qualification. Vietnam are scheduled to face China in the quarter-finals on September 25.
