The Olympic Council of Asia confirmed men’s and women’s MVP awards for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, Van Hoa reported. Each winner will receive US$25,000, with selection handled by a five-member panel chaired by Tayyab Ikram.
The panel will consider performances, records and gold-medal totals among Asian athletes. Winners are expected to be announced on October 4, the closing day. The announcement sets out the award arrangements and value; it does not yet name the two recipients.
