Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie and Folarin Balogun return to a 25-player United States squad for the Concacaf Nations League quarter-final against Haiti. The Guardian reports that Mauricio Pochettino's selection includes just two potential senior debutants after 13 players earned first caps in the previous window.

Ricardo Pepi is absent, with the coach explaining that continued fitness work at his club was the preferred approach.

Experience alongside new options

Reed Baker-Whiting and Santiago Castañeda could make their first senior appearances. Baker-Whiting, 21, has played at left-back for Nashville and joins a defensive group including Antonee Robinson, Sergiño Dest, Chris Richards and Auston Trusty.

Castañeda, also 21, comes from Paderborn and offers another midfield option alongside captain Tyler Adams. Weston McKennie returns after missing the previous window through fatigue, while Gio Reyna, Malik Tillman and Sebastian Berhalter are also selected.

Pulisic returns after missing the September and October games while recovering from a World Cup leg injury. Balogun joins forwards Justin Ellis, Julian Hall and Cavan Sullivan. The goalkeepers are Matt Freese, Diego Kochen and Brian Schwake.

Haiti tie spans two venues

The Guardian lists Haiti's designated home leg in Miami on November 14, with security conditions preventing play in Haiti. Cincinnati hosts the return on November 17; those dates follow the host locations' calendars.

Pochettino described the camp as an opportunity to expand competition for places. Training and preparation for the two-leg tie come next, before he chooses which of the returning players and new selections will take the field.
