Pascal Siakam is expanding his education work through the PS43 Foundation, according to an NBA.com interview. The foundation partners with Toronto-based incubator DMZ on the Siakam Ed Tech Engine, which supports startups seeking to improve kindergarten-to-grade-12 education. Around six or seven companies are selected annually for a 12-week programme, with grants totalling $50,000 awarded to selected participants. Siakam said the work reflects his father's emphasis on the lasting value of education alongside sport and his wish to help children and teachers through his platform.
