Clarence Seedorf has been appointed Corinthians head coach on a contract running until the end of 2027, Manchester United reported on 12 October. The former Netherlands international will work with former United players Memphis Depay and Jesse Lingard. The report places Corinthians close to the relegation zone with eight matches remaining at that point. Seedorf emphasised the responsibility of building a competitive team. The appointment follows, but is separate from, his Carrington visit.
