Singapore’s ReadSG programme awards 20 virtual coins for each 15-minute reading session, counting no more than one session a day; 1,000 coins can be exchanged for S$1 after about 50 days. The pilot runs through Dec. 31 and also includes a charity reading campaign.

Singapore’s National Library Board has launched ReadSG on CrowdTask SG to encourage a daily reading habit. Participants receive 20 coins for a 15-minute session, with only one session counted each day. Reaching 1,000 coins earns S$1, requiring 50 days of participation.
The pilot runs until December 31. NLB plans to refine the programme using participant feedback, with the broader aim of helping people build a lasting reading habit through small daily steps.
