The Seoul Western District Court sentenced WINNER member Song Min-ho to one year in prison, suspended for two years, for violations during alternative mandatory service, Yonhap reported on October 1. The case concerned repeated absences from his duty station during 2023–2024.
Yonhap says the court found him guilty of breaching the Military Service Act, and Song had expressed regret before the ruling. The one-year prison term and its two-year suspension must be distinguished; this is not a sentence of two years' immediate imprisonment.
