Street Fighter led Friday's North American box office with US$13 million from 3,575 theatres, Variety reported on October 17. Its projected US$31 million total by Sunday remains a forecast while the weekend continues.

The Paramount adaptation is directed by Kitao Sakurai and stars Noah Centineo and Andrew Koji as fighters drawn into a tournament based on the Capcom franchise.

Documentary opens second

A24's You Can See Everything earned approximately US$5.54 million from 855 theatres on Friday. Estimates cited by Variety suggest a US$12.45 million weekend, above an initial US$7–8 million opening forecast.

Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim worked for more than three years on the Elizabeth Holmes documentary. The report describes access before the Theranos founder began serving her prison sentence.

Possible comparisons with earlier documentary openings remain dependent on completed totals rather than projections alone.

Other releases compete

Sense and Sensibility placed third on Friday with US$3.3 million from 2,545 theatres. Georgia Oakley's adaptation stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esme Creed-Miles and is targeting approximately US$6.7 million for the weekend.

Whalefall ranked fourth with US$3 million from 2,065 locations. Rival estimates project US$7 million by Sunday for Brian Duffield's survival thriller.

Other Mommy followed with US$2.5 million on Friday. These figures concern North America, not worldwide revenue.

The listed order represents the reported Friday snapshot. Additional screenings and receipts can change the weekend totals, so the Sunday forecasts do not yet establish the final three-day ranking.
