Japan’s 2026–27 women’s SV.League is scheduled to open with a Saga Hisamitsu Springs–Aleeza Aichi double-header in Bangkok this weekend. Volleyball World says these will be the league’s first matches staged outside Japan. A revised format divides 14 clubs between East and West conferences, with each team playing 38 regular-season matches and eight teams reaching the playoffs. The announcement lists VBTV as the platform for live and on-demand coverage throughout the season.
