The HQ1/HQ2 heritage service between Hue and Tho Loc has passed its launch-offer week. Official tourism notices limited discounts of up to 50% to 29 August–5 September 2026.
What changes from 6 September
The notices list 15% off outbound tickets through the end of 2026, plus a further 10% for passengers purchasing the return leg. Check the railway’s final fare and conditions rather than adding the percentages into one blanket discount.
Culture along the route
The roughly 190-km route includes a community carriage presenting folk music, local food and OCOP products. The launch ceremony was held in Dong Hoi on 28 August.
Before travelling, confirm the operating date, boarding and arrival stations, and included services through the official booking system.
