Each episode opens with a brief linked to Hue's culture, daily life or real development needs. Outcomes can include creative content, tested ideas, product prototypes, services or new experiences, developed with local artisans, experts and communities.

Who is behind it

The Hue city People's Committee provides overall direction, and the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre connects heritage resources. Production company The Stars will develop, produce and distribute the show with support from TikTok Vietnam. Bao Van Hoa said Hue will help set briefs, supply material and verify results, not just serve as a backdrop. Project executive director Nguyen Thanh Tri of The Stars said the aim is an original reality-TV format created by Vietnamese people. Creators will be chosen for storytelling and skills in content, visuals, music or design, plus the ability to work across cultures. The final line-up will be announced after selection.

Why it matters

The show aims to promote Hue's culture and heritage to international audiences, boost the creative economy and develop tourism products. Organisers stress a verified co-creation process: promising results will be developed further after the show rather than ending as broadcast content. For Hue's artisans and craft villages, it offers exposure through the eyes of foreign content creators.

What comes next

The next step is completing selection and announcing the official artists, guests and creators. Season one is expected on VTV3 in June 2027.
