Tay Ninh province has proposed studying a free-trade zone at the Moc Bai border gate and a “single window, single stop” customs model with Cambodia. Provincial leaders raised the ideas at a September 28 meeting on the border economic zone.

The province also wants better transport and logistics links to attract investment. These are proposals requiring further study and coordination with national agencies; no completed free-trade zone was announced.
