Thanh Hoa is targeting 44–47 gold medals and a place among the leading seven or eight delegations at the tenth National Sports Games. Bao Van Hoa reports that the October 5 send-off introduced a delegation of 483 members, including 386 athletes and accompanying coaches and support staff. Preparations have included selection, training and competition experience. The Games are planned for November 14 to December 12, so the medal figures represent Thanh Hoa's objectives for the event rather than results already achieved.
