Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade has published Circular 63/2026/TT-BCT, dated September 30, on the food database within its management remit. The official document page lists November 15, 2026, as its effective date. The instrument covers creating, managing, updating, connecting, sharing and using data for oversight of the food industry, safety, product quality and traceability. It also addresses responsibilities of parties involved in food production and trading. Establishing this framework does not certify that every business or product has already fulfilled the applicable requirements.
