Thùy Anh has discussed playing Thu An and filming 1982 after its Busan festival screening on 11 October, Thanh Niên reports. Nguyễn Hoàng Điệp's film participates in Vision-Asia and follows family tensions when a mother disappears. The actor described a small crew, improvised moments and seeing the completed film with an audience. The new interview concerns the premiere and production experience. Festival participation and a screening do not establish an award win.
