Tran Thanh will not host the two Tinh ha say hi concerts scheduled for October 17 and 18 in Ho Chi Minh City. The entertainer announced his absence on his personal social media account on September 9, according to Tuoi Tre Online.
He said he and the organisers had not reached an agreement on his participation. His statement did not identify the terms on which they differed. By clarifying the situation before the shows, he wanted to avoid fans buying tickets in the expectation of seeing him and then being disappointed.
The concerts are planned to feature 24 artists from Tinh ha say hi. Despite his withdrawal, Tran Thanh wished the events well and encouraged audiences to continue supporting the performers. His announcement addressed his own role rather than changing the published plans for the wider cast.
Tuoi Tre noted that he had also missed some earlier concerts in the say hi series, including a US event in 2025 and a Hanoi show in March 2026. The latest statement confirms his absence from the two October dates but does not identify a replacement host.
