Training supports another leading role
This is her second leading role after An Nhiên in “Hộ linh tráng sĩ”, released in August. She said she wanted to continue in action films and had maintained her training, including several months of direct instruction from Johnny Trí Nguyễn at Liên Phong.
The preparation covered basic techniques, sword work, striking and physical conditioning. These are reported acting preparations, not competitive sporting qualifications or a guarantee that every hazardous scene is performed without assistance.
The holiday film remains in development
Thiên Tú previously appeared in “Áo lụa Hà Đông” and “Huyền thoại bất tử”, later studying acting in Beijing. She also appeared in the 2025 film “Tử chiến trên không”.
Other announced cast members include Trần Quốc Anh, Ma Ran Đô and Trầm Minh Hoàng. Director Dương Minh Chiến previously made “Truy tìm long diên hương” and has worked in several action-production roles. The Tết 2027 date remains a target, not proof of completion or box-office performance.
