Chau Ngoc Tuyet Sang won silver in the Asian Games mixed individual virtual taekwondo event. BongdaPlus reported that she advanced through the earlier rounds before losing the final 2-0 to a Philippine opponent. The new format allows male and female athletes to compete using virtual-reality equipment and motion sensors. Tuyet Sang's result belongs to that format, which operates differently from traditional sparring and poomsae events.
