VietnamPlus reported that the project aims to improve water regulation and use for households, agriculture and climate adaptation. Dien Bien province is the supervising authority.
It is intended to support reliable water supplies for approximately 35,000 people and 21,000 hectares of farmland, alongside irrigation improvements and greater resilience to drought and flooding.
