Cooperation documents exchanged in Copenhagen

Vietnamese and Danish organisations exchanged 16 cooperation documents at a business forum in Copenhagen on October 20, witnessed by Tô Lâm and King Frederik X, according to the report citing Vietnam News Agency.

The documents cover offshore wind, logistics, aviation, industry and advanced technology. PetroVietnam and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners exchanged an agreement on developing the Nam Trung Bộ 1 offshore wind project. PTSC M&C and Semco Maritime outlined strategic cooperation for 2026-30 involving offshore-wind substations, while PVFCCo and Topsoe addressed chemical, fertiliser and sustainable-energy technology.

Logistics documents included VinaCapital Logistics Holdings with A.P. Moller Capital, and a Hateco-APM Terminals memorandum to study a rail freight terminal in Hai Phong. Vietjet and Satair covered aviation materials and services. Vietnam Airlines exchanged three memoranda involving Copenhagen Airport, Danish Industry and Scandinavian Airlines.

Intentions and implementation remain distinct

Other documents involved Carlsberg investment intentions in Huế and Đà Nẵng, quantum research between FPT and the Niels Bohr Institute, STEAM education, biomedical cooperation and tourism.

At the forum, Vietnam called for stronger links with domestic firms, research and development, skills and technology transfer. King Frederik X highlighted opportunities in efficiency, logistics, food, biotechnology and health.

The documents have different legal and practical forms, including agreements, memoranda and letters of intent. Their exchange does not mean all funding has arrived, construction is complete or new routes are operating. The news establishes the cooperation agenda and announced commitments, with project implementation still requiring further steps.
