Viettel Tammi Cup 2026 held its group draw on October 10 at Viettel An Giang, bringing together 17 teams from An Giang and Kien Giang universities. Báo Văn Hóa reports that play is scheduled to start on October 12, with the best two teams from each university advancing to the championship stage. Organisers are pairing the student football competition with introductions to digital services. Claimed benefits for digital skills are organisers’ expectations, rather than measured outcomes from the tournament.
