Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports exceeded US$1 billion for a third consecutive month, according to preliminary Customs data cited by VnExpress on September 26. Exports were about US$1.12 billion in July, US$1.37 billion in August and more than US$1.1 billion in September. The nine-month total approached US$7.3 billion, up 18.5% year on year.
The measures tell different stories: September alone was down 15.1% from September 2025 even as the nine-month total grew. A Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association representative linked the high monthly values partly to durian season and demand in several markets, while stressing quality control and traceability.
