Twenty-one Vietnamese athletes are undergoing classification in Aichi–Nagoya ahead of the fifth Asian Para Games, SGGP reported on 12 October. Vietnam is entering athletics, powerlifting, swimming, badminton and table tennis, with Lê Văn Công selected as opening-ceremony flag bearer. Competition is scheduled for 18–24 October. Classification forms part of eligibility preparations, rather than a medal result. The Vietnamese delegation aims to improve on its previous Games performance.
