Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl has reached a 15th non-consecutive week at No.1 on the Billboard 200, according to Variety.
The article reports another 87,000 equivalent album units. That combined chart measure should not be described as 87,000 physical copies sold.
An extended release cycle
Variety links the new result to the Encore edition, released on September 24 with four additional tracks.
Patient Zero is among the new songs discussed.
The original album arrived in October 2025, so the expanded version continues an existing release rather than representing a completely separate album.
The report also discusses Patient Zero on the Hot 100. Song-chart achievements are distinct from the album's Billboard 200 weeks.
Likewise, 15 non-consecutive weeks does not mean an uninterrupted 15-week run.
Other chart positions
The cited top five also include albums by Olivia Rodrigo, Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley and Noah Kahan.
Greta Van Fleet enter at No.9 with Palace for the People.
These positions belong to the reported chart week, not a later update.
Variety also describes Swift's October 17 performance at the Academy Museum Gala.
That appearance provides separate performance context; it was not an award ceremony for the Billboard result.
The new chart development is the album's 15th non-consecutive week at the top and its reported equivalent-unit total. Future positions will depend on subsequent weekly measurements.
