Arsenal have announced the death of life president Ken Friar, paying tribute to more than eight decades of service. Born in 1934, he began working for the club as a boy before becoming secretary, managing director and a leader of its stadium relocation project. Alongside Danny Fiszman, he helped deliver Emirates Stadium, which opened in 2006. The club offered condolences to his family; its announcement did not specify a cause of death.
