Max Dowman has received the Carabao Cup Player of the Round award for his third-round performance away to Ipswich Town, Arsenal announced on 12 October. The academy graduate scored twice and contributed to the move for Mikel Merino's goal. The club recorded 49 touches, 23 completed passes and seven duels won. The new award recognises that round's performance, rather than naming him the competition's player of the season.
