After finishing in the top six at Miss World 2026, Bao Ngoc is turning her attention to further study and environmental work. In a post-pageant interview with VnExpress, she said she plans to pursue a master's degree in Environmental Science and Policy at Columbia University, with a longer-term interest in research and policymaking.

One personal moment made the competition particularly meaningful: both her parents attended the September 5 final in Khanh Hoa. They separated when she was young. Bao Ngoc said she valued their presence as an expression of support for their daughter.

Both parents work in medicine, but she said they continue to support her different professional direction. She respects their separate lives and does not make a return to their former family arrangement a condition of her own happiness.

Through Gen Zero, the project she founded, Bao Ngoc wants to help young people learn about climate issues and participate in international forums. She plans to draw on connections made during the pageant to support that work.

Her chosen path brings together public communication and specialist knowledge. She sees experience on stage as useful in reaching audiences, while further education can provide the expertise needed for her environmental ambitions.
