BigBang landed in Hanoi on the night of 23 October 2026, with two shows at Mỹ Đình Stadium on the evenings of 24 and 25 October. VnExpress reported that hundreds of Vietnamese fans packed the international arrivals hall at Nội Bài airport from about 8pm with banners and light sticks, but never got to see G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung.

A long wait at Nội Bài

The group's flight touched down a little after 10.30pm. At around 10.45pm security staff told the crowd the artists had already left through a private exit for their hotel, drawing a collective groan before fans dispersed. VnExpress noted that the crowd had formed two orderly lines and kept quiet so as not to disturb other travellers. Crown-shaped light sticks, 20th-anniversary T-shirts and nón lá conical hats were the accessories of choice, and one group came dressed as the three members.

One fan, 27-year-old Phan Việt Hoàng, had travelled from Huế by sleeper bus to save money; he paid 10.5 million dong for a first-night ticket and has followed the group since primary school.

Earlier, citing Newsen, VnExpress said the three members arrived separately at Incheon airport at about 5pm Hanoi time on 23 October, G-Dragon in a long coat, hat and daisy-print scarf. On 22 October Daesung had posted a chibi drawing on his Instagram Story showing a figure in a conical hat in a scene evoking Hanoi's train street. At Mỹ Đình, Tuổi Trẻ reported a wave of fan cosplay, led by content creator Duy Nến and two friends.

What comes next

Each Mỹ Đình night is expected to draw tens of thousands, according to VnExpress. Wristbands replace paper tickets: each ticket's QR code matches one band, and a lost band means no entry. After the 22–23 October exchange days, organisers exchange bands on 24 and 25 October only for that day's show. A VnExpress check on 21–22 October of about 10 hotels within 1–3 km of the stadium found most fully booked for the night of 24 October.
