BigBang closed the Hanoi leg of their 20th-anniversary world tour with a second show at Mỹ Đình National Stadium on 25 October. Organisers put total attendance across the 24 and 25 October concerts at about 90,000, VnExpress reported, while Tuổi Trẻ counted more than 40,000 people on the closing night. G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung kept the running order close to the opener, built on hits such as Fantastic Baby, Hands Up, Blue, Tonight and Lies, but found new ways to play to the Hanoi crowd.
The first night is covered in our earlier report, BigBang kneel to thank fans after nearly three-hour first night at Hanoi's Mỹ Đình. This piece looks at 25 October and the two-night run as a whole.
What was new on night two
According to VnExpress, G-Dragon once again smashed a guitar during Tonight, a stunt tied to the 2011 promotion of the song, the title track of BigBang's fourth mini album. When fans chanted "Anh Long", the nickname Vietnamese fans have given him, he chanted it back. He also showed off a little fingernail painted with a pink heart and wore a hat topped with cartoon figures of himself and his two bandmates.
Taeyang won an on-stage dance-off against the other two. Daesung, the group's joker, said he had been unable to sleep after the first night because he kept replaying the moments with fans. On both nights he sang the Vietnamese line "Quá giới hạn, quá giới hạn" (over the limit), reworked from his song Hando-Chogu. He described the Vietnam show as the best, and at the end of the final night joked that he wanted to draw up a contract for another concert in Vietnam, an idea the other two backed. All three promised to come back soon.
Across both nights, the stadium-wide singalong to Haru Haru, the 2008 song fans treat as an anthem, was among the most emotional moments, while fireworks, flares and flame columns punctuated the set.

Touts, spending and crowd control
On the afternoon of 25 October, touts gathered around Mỹ Đình, some approaching fans at the wristband exchange to buy their tickets and sell them on, VnExpress reported. Seated CAT tickets, with face values between 1 million and 3.5 million dong, changed hands most often.
| Ticket | Face value | Touts' asking price, 25 October afternoon |
|---|---|---|
| CAT 5 | 2 million dong | About 27 million dong a pair |
| CAT 3 | Not given | 33 million dong a pair |
| Ultimate VIP Package | 10.5 million dong | About 75 million dong a pair, while offering to buy at 50 million dong a pair |
Many fans turned to social media groups, where prices were softer, though others warned of scams. Spending did not stop at tickets: VnExpress featured 26-year-old Kiều Trang from Huế, who spent more than 20 million dong on tickets, food, lodging and travel, and noted that the 20th-anniversary lightstick sold for nearly 2 million dong.
Fans began gathering around 17:00 to swap tickets for wristbands and check in, with separate lanes for each ticket class keeping checks quick. Security limited street vending around the stadium, so many people ordered food through apps. Tuổi Trẻ reported that traffic management, crowd control, fire safety, rescue and medical support were also stepped up and kept in place until the audience had left.
Plenty of familiar faces were in the stands. Singer Erik posted photos from the second night with Đức Phúc, Hùng Huỳnh and Miss Tiểu Vy, while Phương Mỹ Chi, Quốc Thiên, Juky San, It's Charles and OSAD were among the artists who attended over the two days, according to Tuổi Trẻ.
After the show
Daesung was the first member to post afterwards, sharing a photo with two hand banners made by G-Dragon's Vietnamese fan community that read "BigBang is back" and "Until Whenever, Still BigBang Still V.I.P", VnExpress reported. Taeyang posted a set of backstage photos that drew more than 12,000 interactions within an hour, with many fans lamenting that they had not heard his song Eyes, Nose, Lips. As of the early hours of 26 October, G-Dragon had not posted, but had liked Daesung's post and several videos of fans singing along with the group.
What's next
The Hanoi dates belong to BigBang 2026-2027 World Tour (XX: COSMOS), which runs from 21 August 2026 to 28 February 2027 with about 39 shows across several countries and territories. Tuổi Trẻ noted that it is BigBang's first world tour as a group in nine years. The sources did not name the tour's next stop. On the opening night G-Dragon told the crowd that this was only the beginning. The group's history with Vietnam, starting with SoundFest 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City, is laid out in BigBang arrive in Hanoi as hundreds of fans wait at Nội Bài airport.
Mỹ Đình is set to host Tùng Dương's Bay về phía mặt trời, billed as the biggest concert of his career, on 19 December. The singer, who went to see BigBang, wrote on social media that he was picking up tips on how to fire up a stadium before his own turn, Tuổi Trẻ reported. More in Hòa Minzy joins guest lineup for Tùng Dương's Mỹ Đình concert.
