Black Bear has acquired US distribution rights to Honeymoon / Funeral, a romantic comedy starring Rebecca Ferguson, Greta Lee and Carrie Coon, Variety reports. Nahnatchka Khan directs Julia Bicknell’s screenplay about two women whose different journeys bring them together on a flight to London. Filming wrapped there in September 2026, and the project is in post-production. The announced deal concerns the US market and does not establish a Vietnamese distributor, release date or local rights arrangement.
