Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade proposes using a pricing database to flag unusual fuel-price changes under a draft decree, VnExpress reports. Businesses would declare pricing components and explain adjustments, with alerts passed to local authorities and market-surveillance officials for checks. The draft also envisages greater company control over selling prices alongside oversight. It remains a proposal and does not establish that the existing seven-day cycle for state-announced maximum prices has already been replaced.
