Portugal secured a place in the 2026/27 Nations League quarter-finals by coming from behind to beat Norway 2-1 in its fourth Group A4 match. VnExpress reports that the October 4 game at the Dragao took place without Cristiano Ronaldo. Kristoffer Ajer put Norway ahead before Joao Cancelo quickly equalised for the hosts. Portugal went on to complete the comeback and ensure progression from the group, while debate over the national team's selection continued away from the pitch.
