Deputy Finance Minister Nguyen Duc Chi has called for clarification of complaints that people impersonated in company registrations have waited years for resolution, VnExpress reported. At an October 6 briefing, he urged agencies to coordinate to protect affected individuals' rights. Officials said information on around 4,000 cases had been received and was being checked with local authorities. Withdrawal of a business registration requires findings and the necessary conditions. The instruction to investigate does not mean the cases have already been resolved or associated tax obligations removed.
