Deputy Minister Tạ Quang Đông met MPA Asia-Pacific president Urmila Venugopalan in Hanoi on 13 October, Văn Hóa reports. They discussed film cooperation, training, copyright enforcement and responsible use of AI. Vietnam sought connections with US experts and companies and participation in upcoming film activities. Both sides will continue discussions over the timing of a memorandum of understanding. The meeting does not establish that the cooperation document has already been signed.
