Bochum will prohibit synchronised jumping in the Ruhrstadion's East Stand standing section from October 11, The Guardian reported. Engineers confirmed the structure's load-bearing capacity but found that the movement could cause discomfort for some spectators. The section can remain in use at full capacity if the restriction is observed. The club said renovation of the stand is already included in its modernisation project, with completion planned for 2028 and the restriction expected to be lifted afterward.
