Southampton manager Tonda Eckert has received a six-week suspension, suspended until the end of the 2027/28 season, plus a £28,000 fine and reprimand, the FA announced on October 7. He admitted three misconduct charges involving observation of Oxford, Ipswich and Middlesbrough training sessions. The suspension would take effect following a further breach concerning the requesting, authorising or use of information obtained by observing another club's training. Eckert is therefore not required to stop working immediately under this sanction.
