Vietnamese beach volleyball pair Nguyễn Anh Tuấn and Lê Hoàng Ý beat a pair representing Hong Kong, China, 2-0 in ASIAD 20 qualifying on September 24. They won the opening set 21-13 before taking a tighter second set 21-19.
The pair had lost their opener to a Chinese team 1-2. According to Vietnam’s Sports Authority, the Hong Kong win keeps them in contention to advance from Group B, with their remaining matches still decisive.
