Vietnam’s men’s volleyball team beat Hong Kong 3-1 in its final Asian Games group match, earning its first win of the tournament. Vietnam took the first two sets 25-20, lost the third 23-25 and closed the fourth 25-20.

BongdaPlus reported 26 points from Nguyen Ngoc Thuan and 19 from Tang Ngoc Hieu. The win ended Vietnam’s group campaign; it did not reverse the earlier failure to reach the quarterfinals.
