Vietnam’s men’s volleyball team lost 3-0 to Qatar at the Asian Games and missed the quarterfinals. A 3-0 opening defeat to India had made the Qatar match its remaining chance to stay in contention.

Vietnam kept the first two sets close, but Qatar took them 25-23 and 28-26 before closing out the match in the third. The result ended Vietnam’s bid for a place among the last eight.
