Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan secured Qatar's third successive Asian Games men's beach volleyball gold medal by beating Indonesia 2–1 in the final, SGGP reported. The pair defeated Iran in the quarter-finals and Thailand in the semi-finals before completing their title defence. Their earlier Asian Games titles came at Jakarta-Palembang in 2018 and Hangzhou. The Aichi-Nagoya victory extended the record of a partnership that also won bronze at the Tokyo Olympics.
