Bradley Barcola has been voted Champions League Player of the Week following his hat-trick in Liverpool's 6-3 victory at LASK. Liverpool confirmed the result on 15 October, naming Nicolò Tresoldi, Harry Kane and Lamine Yamal as the other players he finished ahead of.

Recognition follows three goals in Austria

Barcola scored twice in the first half at the Raiffeisen Arena and completed the hat-trick with a close-range finish after the interval. According to the club, those were also his first Liverpool goals.

The announcement confirms the completed vote, rather than merely a nomination. It does not supply a voting percentage or total number of participants.

The LASK result gave Liverpool consecutive European victories. Bongda24h's subsequent match preview also identifies Ronald Araújo, Jeremie Frimpong and Lewis Koumas as scorers alongside Barcola.

Domestic preparation becomes the next task

Liverpool's week has produced different results across competitions. Before travelling to Austria they lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Premier League, and their next domestic assignment is away at Brentford on 17 October.

Bongda24h places Liverpool ninth, one point behind Brentford before that meeting. The European performance and the forthcoming league challenge therefore have separate contexts.

The weekly award recognises Barcola's completed contribution against LASK. It does not establish how the next fixture will finish or resolve the fitness questions affecting other Liverpool players. The team now move from individual recognition towards preparing for another match, while the hat-trick and award remain confirmed achievements from their European programme.
