Alphadjo Cisse scored a hat-trick as AC Milan won 4-0 away to Salzburg in the Europa League on October 15. VnExpress reported that, aged 19 years and 358 days, he became the youngest Italian player to score at least three goals in a match across the European competitions it identified.
Three goals within 49 minutes
Cisse headed in Omari Hutchinson's cross in the 19th minute, converted Davide Bartesaghi's pass in the 32nd and completed his treble from Adrien Rabiot's delivery in the 49th.
Goncalo Ramos added a fourth in the 72nd minute. Filippo Terracciano received a straight red card late on, but Milan retained their 4-0 victory.
It brought the team's first points of this Europa League campaign after an opening defeat to Benfica. Ruben Amorim welcomed the efficiency of his rotated side.
An Italian-player milestone
The reported age record covers Italian players in the Champions League, Europa League and former third European cup. It should not be read as a record for every player in all competitions. Giancarlo Danova held the earlier mark from 1959.
Cisse was also Milan's first European hat-trick scorer since Filippo Inzaghi in 2002, according to the report. The Salzburg goals were his first in European competition.
After developing at Verona and playing on loan at Catanzaro, he joined Milan in January 2026 before completing another loan spell. He now has seven goals in seven appearances this season and credited habits developed as a youth striker for his attacking movement.
