Antonio Conte says he wants his next club to be ambitious about restoring its standing and competing for trophies. BongdaPlus cites his interview with The Athletic, in which he stressed a coach's role in setting direction and communicating a clear vision. The comments have attracted attention amid speculation linking him with Manchester United. Conte did not confirm talks with the club, however, and the report states that Michael Carrick has not been dismissed. A managerial change therefore remains speculation.
