Coteccons has increased its AnPR holding from 19% to 64% by converting a loan into shares, bringing the communications business under its control. VnExpress reported that the company disclosed the transaction in consolidated accounts for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 and began consolidating AnPR at the end of September.
The move changes Coteccons’s position from minority shareholder to controlling owner in a company that already supplied it with communications services.
Transaction figures and existing ties
Coteccons recorded a transaction value exceeding VND33 billion. AnPR held nearly VND19 billion in cash when consolidated, and the reported net cash expenditure after deducting that amount was approximately VND15 billion. The figures represent different measures of the transaction.
AnPR was established in April 2018 with VND20 billion in charter capital. The agency says it has worked with Coteccons since 2021.
Its founder, Nguyen Trinh Thuy Trang, became Coteccons’s external-relations director in that year. After handling internal affairs, she was appointed deputy general director for operations in October 2024, according to VnExpress. That employment and business history provides context for the acquisition.
Revenue growth and a focus on efficiency
Coteccons reported first-quarter fiscal 2027 net revenue above VND11.269 trillion, up 51% year on year. After-tax profit exceeded VND305 billion, rising about 4%. Financial expenses more than tripled to around VND160 billion, largely comprising interest costs.
The fiscal 2027 label belongs to accounts published in 2026. VnExpress said the builder was emphasising efficiency and tighter customer, project and payment-term criteria. Its stated direction includes industrial construction, infrastructure, international markets and specialist products and services.
