An Giang held an incense-offering ceremony on October 7 at Nguyễn Trung Trực Monument Park to mark 158 years since his death, Văn Hóa reports. Central and local representatives joined residents and visitors for the ceremony, music, dance and festival drumming. An arts program titled Nguyễn Trung Trực - an Immortal Mark took place the previous evening. This year's commemorations focus on remembrance of the historical figure and presentation of local traditions through a range of performances.
