DatVietVAC plans an interim cash dividend of VND 2,500 per share, involving almost VND 280 billion, VnExpress reported. The shareholder record date is November 12, with payment expected roughly a month later. The announcement coincided with DVV shares beginning trade on HoSE on November 2.

Dividend terms and the first session

The company described the payout as a 25% dividend across more than 111.4 million shares. That percentage should be read alongside the fixed cash amount, rather than as a return calculated from the market price.

DVV’s reference price was VND 54,800, implying market capitalisation above VND 6.1 trillion. The shares closed at VND 51,900, down 5.3%. At that closing price, VnExpress calculated a dividend yield of around 4.8%.

Business mix and the final quarter

Established in 1994, DatVietVAC adopted a holding company model in 2019. Its businesses include Vie Channel, VieON, Dong Tay Promotion and DatVietOOH. Content and media services are its two main areas, with entertainment properties including The Masked Singer and 2 Ngay 1 Dem.

Nine month net revenue reached VND 2.116 trillion and consolidated profit was VND 246 billion. The annual plan calls for VND 3.382 trillion in revenue and VND 420 billion in after tax profit. Management expects a substantial contribution from the fourth quarter, supported by eight concerts, peak broadcasting and commercial use of artists and intellectual property.

The immediate milestones are the November 12 record date, the subsequent payment schedule and fourth quarter performance. Longer term growth and international expansion objectives remain management targets rather than completed results.
