David Fincher does not plan to renew his overall Netflix agreement when it expires next year, according to Bloomberg reporting cited by Variety. His exclusive partnership began in 2020 and includes “Mank,” “The Killer” and the upcoming “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.”
The report says he has not signed a new overall deal elsewhere and could still work with Netflix on individual projects. Netflix did not respond to the article's request for comment. Non-renewal does not mean the current agreement has already expired or that every future collaboration is ruled out.
