Can Tho's culture, sports and tourism department signed a memorandum with Heineken Vietnam on October 2 to coordinate year-end and 2027 celebrations. Plans include the Ok Om Bok boat-racing festival, river-culture activities and New Year countdown programmes. Around 60 men's and women's teams are expected for the boat races. The partners are preparing the programmes and their organisation, with detailed arrangements to follow the announced plans.
